    Where Did November Go?

    By Corvus | December 1, 2005

As you are no doubt aware, the latest edition of the Carnival of Gamers is up (link: The Game Chair). Is it just me, or was it a little… wanting this time around? Heh. I crack myself up.

What this means, though, is that the Round Table goes up on Monday. Monday! I better get to thinking about a topic, eh? If you’re uncertain what the Round Table is, you can follow the top link in my sidebar over there on the right.

I have a few finishing touches to put on a logo I’ve been working on for a fellow game blogger, but I’m mostly done with it. If he likes it and doesn’t mind, I’ll post it for you to see as a sort of a sneak preview.

I have another logo to work on as well… possibly two. Plus, I’ve got some Fireball levels to work on. “Fireball,” you ask? Go, inform yourself. I’ll talk more about it later (link: Fireball: First Look).

I just applied for a motion graphics position that would be challenging and good. I’ll let you know what happens.

My brain is aswirl with Eco’s Role of the Reader, as I got some time to read today when I took the train into the city for some errands. I don’t know why I’ve been having such a hard time with focus, but it probably has something to do with the fact that when you go through a crucible, you come out in pieces. I’m still collecting myself, I think. I should hurry up with that. I miss the lengthy posts… not to mention the mental coherency.

OH! I promised to talk more about KDE 3.5. Well… it’s snappier, several little bugs have been squashed. I now have a weather applet embedded in the first (and least used) of my four desktops (I turned off the other applets I stuck there as being inferior to my old method of performing the tasks). I haven’t been able to test Kopete’s video chat yet, as my camera isn’t compatible with Linux. I’ll swap with the Knittiot the next time I see her.

    Chat at tomorrow!
