Still Time for an After Dinner Cigar

    By Corvus | January 19, 2006

I’m not sure when the Round Table idea went from a King Aurthery thing to a dinner thing, but there you have it.

Tony, of Portico fame, joined us yesterday evening just in time for desert. (link: 2006 in the strategy arena – a wishlist) You have until 11:59 tonight to submit an entry, so please feel free to join us for an after dinner drink and cigar.

    Moving on…

I’ve got Outkast’s album Stankonia on queue for my morning’s soundtrack. I like Outkast so much because they’re the Parliament for the 22nd century*, all twisted science and mysticism centered around attitude and booty. Every album is like a story-slice with a unique, left of center, approach to life and distorted interpretations of every day events. How can you not love that irreverent mix? (Wikipedia links: Outkast, Parliament (band)).

My main post for the day is going to focus on the relationships between storytellers. Actually, it’s just going to focus on the role of conflict in a storytelling relationship. There’s so much to chew on in the topic of storytelling relationships that I suspect we’ll be seeing a lot of chatter on the channel about it.

Okay. Once again, time to get to work. Check ya.

    Tribal Doof

*Parliament is the Parliament for the current century, despite having been at their peak in the 70′s.
