    STOB Update

    By Corvus | April 26, 2006

Evidently Josh beat Brinstar 4 to 1 last night, making him our first Tier Three player. Tony and I ought to be having at it tonight, so he’ll have another match to play soon.

Seth and Thomas, are you two scheduled yet?

Don’t forget that it’s not too late to join in the fun! The last couple of posts explain the tournament in greater detail and I’ll have a S.T.O.B. ranking page up tomorrow morning at the latest.

Gotta dash off to work. Have a fun Wednesday!

Yup, tomorrow is the big night. Question for you all. Are any of you having trouble finding games online? I was trying to get some practice in last night and NWiFiC was pretty darn slow with match making. In addition to taking a while, the few matches that were made were all 1 on 1 battles except for one. It’s been like this since the title was launched but I had read somewhere that they were hoping to fix it.

It can be fairly random, but I have pretty good luck with “worldwide” and “any rank”, although I still occassionaly give up on trying to find a match still. I wish “match my rank” was more effective, but I haven’t had much luck with it.

If NWF annoys me, I just go for a botmatch.

Depends on when I log in. Sometimes I get a ton of one-on-one matches, but in general I’d say it does better than Mario Kart does.
