    July Round Table Update

    By Corvus | July 21, 2006

Patrick of King Lud IC launches July’s Round Table with a vicarious moment which let him know he was on the right career track (link).

We have a new contributor to the Round Table! A self-confessed lurker has come out of the woodwork to dig through some gaming memories in an effort to get to that one special moment. Welcome Ari of Dry, Sardonic, Irreverent (link)!

Tony of Button Mashing confesses that his passion started not so much with a game, but with an insruction manual. That, and a little Kung Fu fighting (link).

Johnny of Design Synthesis describes a series of moments, each of which pulled him further and further in (link).

Greg of The Dust Forms Words has added a post about the birth of, not just his involvement with games, but the birth of a series whose lessons seem mostly forgotten in today’s game design- Ultima (link).

Duncan of Ghosts in the Game brings us to a last minute finish with an overview of his games path so far, not so much a single moment as a compelling series of tugs in a game direction (link).

That’s it for this month! Should you have any topic suggestions for next month, feel free to let me know in the comments. I’m thinking we might go with something a little heavier and design focused again.
