    Seven Down – Newt

    By Corvus | February 1, 2007

    Eft, perhaps?

I saw this yeaterday, but the Escapist blog just reminded me that I forgot to mention it. Majesco is releasing a NYT Crossword puzzle game for the DS! Here’s hoping it’s as well done as Brain Age’s sudoku interface. Also, here’s hoping it has downloaded content. In fact, if it doesn’t I don’t know that I’ll even bother buying it… certainly not new.

You know, I’d probably even pay a monthly subscription fee if it meant playing the same puzzles the NYT subscribers were playing every day.

Crosswords. They do a brain good in the morning.

I love crosswords, because I suck at them, and if I do enough I’ll slowly get smarter. That sounds like an amazing game.

I also hope they have some sort of mutliplayer options – either see who can do the xword faster or maybe co-op a crossword. Come one, who wouldn’t want to do a crossword in the morning with their brother who lives in another city? I would.
