Do it. Go On, do it.
By Corvus | September 14, 2007
Ask me what I do for a living. Go on, do it. Ask me. Do it. Go on, ask me.
What’s that? You have a question for me? Okay, go on ahead and ask it. What do I do for a living? Why, I’m glad you asked that! I, Corvus Elrod, as of 5:00 PM today, the 14th of September, in the year 2007, am a Storyteller.
Self employed. Full time. Freelance. Storyteller.
Goodbye “9 to 5,” hello “4:30 AM until All the Work is Done for the Day.” Goodbye “mind-numbing, repetitive non-challenging routine,” hello “hustle and flow.” Goodbye “rigid, exploitative hierarchical and punitive management structures,” hello “creative, self motivated daily surprises and challenges.”
Stay tuned for an extended update and the launch of our new studio site on Monday!

Welcome to the world of freelancing. May you make more money than I do.

Awesome! Good luck living the dream!
(I bet explaining what a storyteller does gets even more questions than game designer)

Thanks, everybody! Dave, people tend to assume it means I do kid’s parties (which I am more than capable and willing to do) but the conversation gets a bit long when I start to recap the full spectrum of what I do!

Most excellent! Looking forward to the expanding forest growth as it rips apart the concrete pillboxes of oppression…
…or, um, something like that. Y’know.
